Creator of the Week: @bryancortesp

Meet Bryan from @bryancortesp, a standout beauty creator on Iris. We had the opportunity to Interview Bryan, and love his point of view in the beauty space. He both an esthetician and a beauty consumer. His passion lies in seeing the impact that the right products can have on his clients’ skin, and wants to provide his online community with critical information and good product recommendations.

How would you describe yourself as a creator?

“I’m a pro and a consumer. As someone who sees the impact that products can have on my clients’ skin, I want to make sure people are armed with the right information and good recommendations!”

What led you to join the beauty community?

“The beauty community embraced me. It helped me navigate my way through the different parts of my identity. At a time when I wasn’t entirely sure who I was, the community gave me the opportunity to play and explore. I’ll always be thankful for that.”

What's your favorite thing about Iris?

“I want to say that it’s honest. People aren’t afraid to give their honest opinion. I think that truthfulness is scarce in the influencer community. Iris users are so honest. Never in a mean way. But its refreshing :) ”

What are your top three beauty products of the moment?

“My top 3 beauty products are the Sofie Pavitt Face Mandelic Clearing serum because its so versatile! I also love the Superegg cleansing foam and their under-eye and cheek masks. This brand overall makes some of my favorite skin care, always creating great products that give a beautiful user experience.”

What's something you want your followers to know about you?

“I love skincare and I LOVE movies. So much so that I’m training to be a cinematographer. I hope to make skin care commercials and beauty campaigns some day.”

What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?

“We really like to interact and get to know each other. Sometimes we bond over our differences, which is so sweet!”

What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?

“I love icing!!”

Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?

“Less is more. A 10 step routine is great on special occasions, but keep your routine skinimal and purposeful to find success!”
