Meet Hannah from @glowwww.getter, a standout beauty creator on Iris. We had the opportunity to Interview Hannah, and love her unique perspective in the beauty space. She describes herself as a low-key creator, and we love her laid back approach to beauty.
How would you describe yourself as a creator?
“I think I am pretty low-key. I like things to be fun and I genuinely just like talking about my experiences with beauty as well as my own life! I feel very connected with the people I follow and who follow me. It feels like talking with ‘in real life’ besties. I like to keep my content as a reflection of that. I also tend to just enjoy taking pretty photos or videos of my things.”
What led you to join the beauty community?
“I wanted people to talk to with similar interests! You can only bore your mom so much by talking about the importance of sunscreen. I already followed a lot of beauty accounts on instagram and thought ‘I could do that!’”
What's your favorite thing about Iris?
“I am easily influenced to be honest. Seeing genuine reviews by people I trust makes purchasing or trying out products simpler. I also just love to see what products people are using. It feels like another avenue of talking with your skincare/makeup besties!”
What are your top three beauty products of the moment?
“My first product is the JVN Air Dry Creme. WOW! I haven’t used a product that works so well with my hair texture. I almost gave up on my hair because I felt like I could never get it to work. This one product has changed that. I also love Glow Recipe’s Plum Plump Cream. It is something I use morning and night because I truly have never used a moisturizer that hydrates my skin quite like this. Lastly, I'm obsessed with Tower 28’s new blush shade that is inspired after Barbie. It is so flattering on cool-toned individuals like myself!”
What's something you want your followers to know about you?
“I’m currently back in school after two gap years and I’m so excited about that! I’ve been a little busy as a result, lol.”
What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?
“It is so honest! Everybody gives super thorough reviews with their genuine opinions. Everyone also seems to really enjoy just talking with one another, which I love!”
What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?
“I’m obsessed with the “everything shower” trend. Everything showers aren’t new, but I adore seeing everyone’s routines. Us beauty lovers are so extra and I love it!”
Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?
“Yes! For makeup, using a little powder on your eyelashes before applying mascara makes your mascara apply so much better. Thicker eyelashes, too! Skincare-wise, it is cliche but being consistent with retinol makes a difference. My skin has never looked better.”
