How would you describe yourself as a creator?
“I give my honest feedback about products, but while creating posts that are aesthetically pleasing, and colorful.”
What led you to join the beauty community?
“I’ve always loved finding new products to try, and I used to share them with mom and vice versa. For instance, if either of us found something we just absolutely loved, we would buy it and give it to the other to try. Then later talk about what we liked/disliked. After she passed away content creation became an outlet during my grief and a way to connect by doing something we had both loved.”
What's your favorite thing about Iris?
“I love how it feels so genuine. I really enjoy the Q&A posts. It’s interesting and sometimes you learn new things from them.”
What are your top three beauty products of the moment?
“The Coco and Eve Antioxidant Tanning Micromist. I love using their self tanner but my skin is so dry with the winter weather. Which means sometimes it comes out patchy. The micromist is hydrating which means less patchy for me!
The Caliray Skin Tint - It’s so lightweight, the color match is perfect for my skin, and I love how flawlessly it blends out.
The Naturium Phyto-Glow lip balms - they are hydrating, they have a good shade range, and I love the price point.”
What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?
“I love how much conversation it creates, and there is such a good amount of positivity. I feel like it’s a place for beauty lovers that doesn’t have the same pressure like other social media platforms. Where you might feel you need to entertain for people to see your reviews/content. On Iris it’s getting to do what I love. I want to review products, see what others think about it. Comment on it and create conversations with people.”
What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?
“Currently love to see everyone’s favorite brand/products of 2023.”
Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?
“Always cleanse for 30 seconds. Especially if I wore makeup. If I’m double cleansing, 30 seconds for each. I can see the difference it makes.”
