Meet Regina from @therawmua, a standout beauty creator on Iris. We had the opportunity to Interview Regina, and love her unique point of view as an esthetician in the creator beauty space. Her goal is to always keeps beauty fun, approachable, and authentic.
How would you describe yourself as a creator?
“If I had to choose 3 words, I'd say fun, approachable, & authentic! I'm gonna keep it real always and throw in some comedy!”
What led you to join the beauty community?
“I'm a retired theater kid-- so I always "knew" how to apply makeup for that purpose. But stage makeup looks crazy in every day life! So I had to learn a whole new set of skills and start trying to keep up!”
What's your favorite thing about Iris?
“It's full of real discovery. I'm seeing products & tips on Iris that would get buried on other platforms.”
What are your top three beauty products of the moment?
“Ahh! Botanical B Enzyme Oil Cleanser from One Love Organics, Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Powder, & iSClinical Pro Heal Serum Advance +-- these three are staples I can't shake! reaching for them constantly for their results & ease of use.”
What's something you want your followers to know about you?
“I'm a rookie tree hugger-- so I gravitate more to products that are sustainable, refillable etc. not just in beauty but in my household purchases, too.”
What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?
“The realness of it all. People are sharing true thoughts & experiences with each other and helping each other get the most out of our products!”
What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?
“I'd have to say, seeing 2016 makeup get revived has me excited. This is when I started wearing makeup & i'm loving the nostalgia!”
Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?
“YES, don't dry the water from your face after washing. seal it right in with your serum/moisturizer. Also, wet your lips with water before applying any lip balm.”
