Creator of the Week: @danielleskin27

Meet Danielle from @danielleskin27, a standout beauty creator on Iris. Danielle values honesty and authenticity as a creator, and it's definitely apparent in her reviews.

How would you describe yourself as a creator?

“Honest and real. I think we see and read enough fake things on the internet already and I’m not interested in adding to that. My thoughts about products, brands, beauty stores, etc are always honest and I always show my real unfiltered self.”

What led you to join the beauty community?

“I’ve always been one to read reviews on products before purchasing, whether it’s a beauty item, kitchen appliance, or a car. So once I really ramped up my skincare game a few years ago and then started reading reviews on IG, I just thought hey I can do that too. It was something fun for me to do.”

What's your favorite thing about Iris?

“The reviews, of course! And I really feel like the reviews posted on Iris are 100% real, users don’t hold back on there, and I appreciate that so much.”

What are your top three beauty products of the moment?

“Murad Deep Relief Acne Treatment because it’s one of the very few products I’ve tried that truly works wonders on the deep hormonal cystic acne I get.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Corrector Cream because it’s so good for hiding redness on the skin and giving you a beautiful, even complexion.

Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oil because it’s so hydrating and nice on the lips and comes in so many pretty shades now. ”

What's something you want your followers to know about you?

“I’m always real and always honest!”

What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?

“The users are amazing! Everyone is friendly, supportive, and totally honest about the products they’re using and what they think about them.”

What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?

“The no makeup makeup look.”

Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?

“Using wash-off masks in the shower! That’s a tip I actually saw on the Iris app and as someone who loves masks of all kinds, it was a literal game changer.”
