Meet Tattiana from @therealmuahxtati, a standout beauty creator on Iris. We had the chance to Interview Tattiana, and love their point of view in the beauty space. They are a multi-faceted creator who aims to “encourage people to show up as their most authentic selves.”
How would you describe yourself as a creator?
“I am a multi-faceted creator. I am a pro mua + beauty creator that posts a variety of content that includes but is not limited to educational content, tutorials, hair content & reviews. You will also get some content of my other artist endeavors mixed in there from time to time. My signature makeup style is something I call "Glamitorial" . Where I combine elements of editorial & glam makeup styles. Through my content, I aim to encourage people to show up as their most authentic selves. That Self-expression is beautiful and to not let societal expectations dictate how you would like to show up in the world. ”
What led you to join the beauty community?
“I originally joined the beauty community back in 2013 as someone who wanted to learn how to do makeup. Eventually I started working in beauty retail, becoming certified in artistry at multiple companies. As time went on, I decided to take a leap & start to offer freelance makeup services and create content to promote those services. What was once a hobby grew into something bigger than I could imagine.”
What's your favorite thing about Iris?
“My favorite thing about Iris is that it can be used a resource when looking for new products to try or different ways to use the products that we already have.”
What are your top three beauty products of the moment?

“It's an affordable, super creamy lipliner. In a variety of beautiful shades that work for many skin tones.”

“This has been my favorite brow product for the past couple of years. It’s super precise & very pigmented. I shave a my natural eyebrows off so this pen is key when trying to achieve a natural looking brow. A staple .”

“This product controls oils so well. It’s a very versatile product. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with other products. It plays really well with products from other brands.”
What's something you want your followers to know about you?
“My creativity doesn't stop at makeup. I have multiple other artistic interests including crocheting.”
What's your favorite thing about the Iris community?
“My favorite thing about the Iris community is all of the different perspectives from the creators. I love discovering brands, products & different routines that I could try for myself. There's no pressure to only leave positive reviews so it's nice to see what didn't work for some people & why.”
What's your favorite beauty trend of the moment?
“I actually don't have a favorite trend at the the moment. Nowadays trends are constantly being "created" & are difficult to keep up with. Usually, they are already established concepts & techniques that are recycled & renamed to seem like something new. So I rarely follow trends for my personal makeup style.”
Do you have a game changing beauty tip that leveled up your makeup or skincare routine?
“A tip that leveled up my makeup routine is to not be afraid to experiment. Trying things outside of my comfort zone allowed me to figure out what I like & how I would like to express/present myself.”
